Our maintenance crew of multi-skilled tradesmen and painter-decorators is backed up by specialist engineers and project managers, who have worked on virtually every building in Covent Garden, Soho, Carnaby, Fitzrovia & Chinatown.
Our operation is based in Seven Dials so we know the patch well, understand the local vernacular, support the local community and acquire locally-sourced materials from our approved list of suppliers.

As part of our expertise, we’re well versed in working on buildings that demand specialist care and a considered approach. Our team is able to liaise with building control and architects and experienced in coordinating planning permission and listed building consents.

We maintain a team of over 30 site operatives from our base in Seven Dials & have completed over 5,000 ‘Reactive Maintenance’ jobs & over 150 ‘Refurbishment Projects’ in central London over the last 10 years.

With ever increasing demands on quality, price and service, we at RS Property Services decided that the most effective way to give our customers real confidence was through a structured certificated Quality Management System (QMS).
For us as a relatively small business, this was not as daunting as it might have appeared as it allowed us to base our business systems on the way we wanted to operate. We set off in the autumn of 2017 and were certified by BSI (British Standards Institution) in the spring of 2018 under the new QMS standard, ISO 9001:2015.
What are the external benefits of ISO 9001?
- ISO 9001 is the recognized quality management system standard worldwide. It confirms that we have put in the effort to develop our systems to meet the standard, in order to continue supplying a service that consistently meets our exacting customers’ requirements.
- Through the process of continuing to review and improve systems, the standard has positively helped our business ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and increase the effectiveness of our operations. This in turn has provided opportunities for orders, increased profitability and stability in the business.
- Our staff are more satisfied too as a result of their confidence in having a common system and logical processes to enable them to consistently get things right.
- Our customer research has shown that we have attracted new customers as a direct result of implementing and gaining certification.
